WWDC 2020 今晚凌晨 1 時來了，但是如果期待蘋果有新產品發佈的話，可能要失望了。

直至最近，傳聞蘋果會在 WWDC 2020 推出形狀像 iPad Pro 的新 iMac，另外可能會推出 AirTags NFC 標籤、 AirPods Studio 耳機以及規格更新的 Apple TV。不過，在 WWDC 2020 Keynote 發佈會之前一日，多位爆料狂人包括 Jon Prosser、Max Weinbach 以及彭博的 Mark Gurman 不約而同爆料，WWDC 2020 完全沒有硬件發佈。Max Weinbach 聲稱從兩個消息來源告知 Keynote 發佈會沒有任何新硬件，Jon Prasser 更希望他收到的消息是錯的。

I had two sources tell me no hardware for WWDC tomorrow. They aren’t on WWDC related teams but heard it through the Apple grapevine. I’d take this with a grain of salt, but thought it was worth mentioning.

彭博爆料大師：有 ARM 架構晶片無新 Mac
至於彭博爆料大師 Mark Gurman 早前指蘋果會公開以 ARM 架構開發的自製晶片，但在 2020 年尾至 2021 年初是沒有 Mac 推出。話雖如此，蘋果在正加快 iOS 和 macOS 的融合，在上年發佈的 Project Calayst 更提供途徑令開發可以為 iPad App 開發 macOD 版本，而在 Mark Gurman 的報告指下一代 macOS 10.16 會有更多 iOS 在 Mac 的整合。

WWDC 是蘋果與開發者交流的大會，而在蘋果開始走向軟件和服務化的情況下，硬件部分可能只剩新技術介紹，就像 ARM 架構 Mac 般。
