近年，為了方便更多人於夜間使用，不同應用程式都新增黑夜模式，將介面變成黑色，看起來更舒服。不過，WhatsApp 的對話群組主頁的主色本身是白色，究竟會否加入黑夜模式呢？看來，機會是有的。

專門跟進 WhatsApp 的 WABetaInfo 公布，他們發現於最新版本的 WhatsApp Beta APK 檔案中，有正在開發黑夜模式的痕跡。另外亦有部分外國用家反映，已經收到來自 WhatsApp 的邀請，試用測試中的黑夜模式。看來，WhatsApp 真的有機會為大家帶來黑夜模式。

當 YouTube 都已加設黑夜模式，WhatsApp 都有同樣功能並不出奇。
