暴雪最近因重罰 blitzchung 事件飽受網民攻擊，但仍然繼續準備推出重製版《Warcraft III》，即《魔獸爭霸III：淬鍊重生》（Warcraft III: Reforged）。最近有參與測試玩家發表 3 段的遊玩影片，大家可以由此懷緬當年《Warcraft III》的畫面。
三段遊戲影片以 1080p 60fps 全高清製作，顯示三場不同種族的戰鬥，包括「Orc vs Human」、「Human vs Orc」、「Human with Panda vs 2 AIs」，片長 20 分鐘至 30 分鐘，從種族選擇、培養文明到建立軍隊、戰鬥、然後打敗敵人。
