任天堂在 1 月 16 日夜晚直播「【スマブラSP】? ? ? のつかいかた」，來自《ファイアーエムブレム 風花雪月》（火焰之紋章 風花雪月）的主角「貝雷特 / 貝雷絲」（ベレト／ベレス）參戰成為第 5 彈 DLC 角色！
「貝雷特 / 貝雷絲」的攻擊方式與《風光雪明》登場武器「英雄的遺產」有關，你可以按不同的方向，切換到劍、槍、斧與弓四種武器進行攻擊，最後的絕招是與「謎之少女ソティス」合力使出的「神祖破天」。

是次直播亦公佈了 Mii Fighter 新衣裝，然後公開一項重要情報：第 6 至第 11 彈 DLC 角色預定會在 2021 年陸續開售，而「Fighter Pass」第 2 彈會在 1 月 29 日推出，售 3300 日圓。
