Samsung 會在美國東岸時間 8 月 5 日上午 10 時（香港時間同日晚上 10 時）舉行「Galaxy Unpacked」線上發佈會，究竟有什麼東西發佈？最近 Samsung 高層開始放口風。
Samsung 流動通訊業務總裁 TM Roh 在分享一篇有關流動產業的「新常態」的文章「Steering the Mobile Industry through the Next Normal」，除了講到接手 Samsung Mobile 6 個月以來的「新常態」之外，還提到今年夏天的「Galaxy Unpacked」發佈會會發佈 5 大全新強大裝置。這些裝置向全新流動體驗的創新者，無論何時何地都能提供無縫連續的流動體驗，從而實現我們的遠見。從工作或娛樂、從家中到室外，它們都可以無縫結合強大的功能，並在「新常態」之中通過手部使用裝置充實生活。

雖然 TM Roh 沒有提及在「Galaxy Unpacked」發佈的 5 大強勁裝置是什麼，但在 Samsung Mobile 的官方 Twitter 卻出現一段影片，附帶文字描述「One fold, infinite possibilities.」也許暗示著 Galaxy Fold 2 的存在。另外傳聞 Samsung 會在「Galaxy Unpacked」發佈 Galaxy Note 20 系列手機、Galaxy Z Flip 5G 螢幕向內摺的手機以及 Galaxy Bud Live 耳機。
