消費者版本 Google+ 已在 4 月 2 日「終極刪帳」，正式走入歷史。

現在打開 Google+ 官網，會導入「消費者 (個人) 及品牌帳戶已無法再使用 Google+」頁面，Google 表示會在數個月時間內刪除消費者版 Google+ 帳戶及 Google 專頁的內容，因此即使過了限期，你仍然有可能透過這個連結下載及儲存你尚存的 Google+ 內容，以及刪除你的 Google+ 的個人檔案。至於 G Suite 版 Google+ 不受今次消費者版關閉影響，但功能會有一些變更。

至於其他 Google 產品，不會受影響，已在「Google 相片」備份的 Google+ 相片和影片將不會刪除。

Google+ 在 2011 年推出，在頭 24 日已吸引 2000 萬人使用，企圖以朋友圈加強私隱程度，但最終未能成功挑戰 Facebook。在 2018 年 10 月 Google 公開 Google+ 一項造成 50 萬用戶個人資料洩漏的軟件漏洞，最後在 2018 年 12 月宣佈關閉消費者版 Google+。
