作為入門級手機，就算在地球拍攝，效果也受效能影響，如果在太空拍攝的話，效果又如何。小米歐洲團隊利用氫氣球把 3 部受嚴密保護的紅米 Note 7 升上 35374 米的太空，氣溫低至零下 58 度，在這嚴寒天氣之下，紅米 Note 7 仍然成功在太空拍攝了地球的照片，並以 GPS 追蹤和回收紅米 Note 7。
