蘋果自家程式不受限制 　第三方程式未必可盡用iPhone 13 Pro 120Hz螢幕

在iPhone 13系列中，iPhone 13 Pro及13 Pro Max配置了支援120Hz畫面更新率並支援ProMotion更新頻率自動適應技術的螢幕。這兩項功能是iPhone 13及13 mini的螢幕沒有的。不過，這並不代表所有程式於iPhone 13 Pro或Pro Max上運行都可以盡用120Hz螢幕的優勢，特別是各個第三方程式都需修訂程式設計以作配合。



現時各個第三方程式於iPhone 13 Pro或Pro Max上運行，雖然於畫面捲動及全螢幕顯示時可以用上最高120Hz畫面更新率，但是顯示動畫時則會限制於60Hz。而蘋果自家的程式則不受此限，即使是呈現動畫都可以用上120Hz畫面更新率。

對於蘋果為iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max設下的限制，無疑引起了爭議，因此蘋果很快發布了文件，向一眾iOS程式開發者介紹如何修改程式，令iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max運行該程式並顯示動畫時，都可以與蘋果的自家程式一樣，得以用上120Hz畫面更新率。換言之，用家需要等待各開發者更新程式，才可以令程式運行於iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max時，得以在不同情況下盡用120Hz畫面更新率。

這種情況，過往於配置120Hz螢幕的iPad Pro並沒有出現，只是出現於iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max。有人估計，蘋果可能是考慮到iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max電池的電量不及iPad Pro，所以加設了限制，但這難以被證實，只知用家是否受惠，要視乎各程式開發者的決定。
