早前微軟重新發佈 Windows 10 的 2018 年 10 月更新，雖然解決了那恐怖的檔案被移除問題，但對於同時使用 iCloud 軟件和 Windows 的用戶來說，這個更新還有一個新問題。
Windows 10 的 2018 年 10 月更新被指與 iCloud for Windows 有兼容衝突，微軟在支援網頁證實，當用戶試用將 iCloud for Windows 7.7.0.27 安裝到最新版 Windows 10 的時候，會出現錯誤訊息，指 iCloud for Windows 只支援 Windows 7、8 以及 2018 年 4 月更新的 Windows 10。

就算用戶已在 Windows 10 更新 iCloud for Windows 到最新版 7.7.0.27，也有大量照片同步問題。目前微軟暫時停止推送 iCloud for Windows 的用戶的更新，並與蘋果合作尋找解決方法。
