手機的感光元件和快門能力有限，在夜晚拍照的時候，可能因為採光不足而不能拍攝出夠光的照片，但是在預計 2019 年初推出的 Galaxy S10，可能暗藏令照片更亮的新武器。
最近 XDA Developer 網站流出 Samsung Galaxy Note 9 的 OneUI/Android Pie beta 的代碼，代碼之中提及一個「Bright Night」的功能，並找到以下的文字說明：
“Brighten up this shot with Bright night, Take bright pictures even in very dark conditions, Take multiple shots and combine them to get brighter, clearer pictures in low light without using the flash and Take bright pictures even in very dark conditions.”

換言之，利用「Bright Night」功能，可以在非常昏暗的環境的情況以及沒有開啟閃光燈之下，拍攝多張照片，令低光環境之下映像更光亮，事實上類似的功能不是第一次出現，Pixel 2 XL 也支援「Night Sight」令低光拍攝的照片更亮。
