《Final Fantasy IX》推出兒童向改編動畫 法國工作室製作發行

根據外媒報導，Square Enix  與法國動畫公司 Cyber Group Studio 簽署合作協議，計畫將《Final Fantasy IX》改編為面向 8 – 13 歲孩童的動畫系列，除了製作電視動畫節目，Cyber Group 將負責動畫版的全球發行、授權以及商品化。

《Final Fantasy IX》

《Final Fantasy IX》於 2000 年 7 月 7 日在 PlayStation 上推出，為該主機上最後一款《Final Fantasy》作品，與《FF7》、《FF8》採用魔法與科技的蒸氣龐克風格不同，而回歸系列早期的奇幻童話路線，劇情述說年輕盜賊吉坦因為一場綁架而與亞歷山德里亞王國的嘉妮特公主相遇，更與眾多夥伴捲入了國家戰爭中的偉大冒險，PS 版在全球銷售超過 550 萬套，之後在智慧型手機、PC、PS4、Xbox One 推出強化移植版本。

改拍電視動畫

Cyber Group Studio 執行長 Pierre Sissmann 表示，公司正在對該專案進行最後的潤飾，計畫在未來數個月開始像傳播公司推銷，目前將《Final Fantasy IX》改拍電視動畫的劇集與長度尚未確定，但是目標是在 2021 年底或者 2022 初開始製作。鑑於《FF》是有史以來受到兒童歡迎的電子遊戲系列，全球銷量超過 1.54 億份，Pierre 認為對於那些真正了解《FF9》的人們而言，動畫算是「簡介」程度的作品，但對其他沒有接觸過的觀眾來說，這將會使他們沉浸於一個他們會喜愛的世界中。
