Ataribox 玩Linux架構 主打個人化 售價$249-299美元

Atari先前宣佈會推出Ataribox，外界從圖片估計新機應該只是復古版機種，相信價格及遊戲功能並不會突出，不過看來不只這麼簡單。Ataribox將採用AMD客製化處理器與Radeon顯示卡，運行Linux系統，主打易於使用及可訂製的用戶介面，意味除了作為遊戲主機外，更加擁有PC功能，可用來串流媒體、使用應用程式、社交、上網及音樂等娛樂功能。

Atari特別指出，Linux架構令Ataribox可擁有更高的自由度，用家可以個人化OS，甚至連接從其他內容平台購買的遊戲（如果遊戲與OS和硬件兼容）。主機將會預載大量Atari的經典遊戲，並有不同廠商推出的新遊戲。新機預計於明年年春天發貨，價格為$249-299美元，據版本和儲存配置而定。
