微軟結束支援Windows 8.1，免費升Windows 10僅6日！

今日，微軟正式宣佈結束Windows 8.1的「主要支援」服務，「延伸支援」就提供到2023年1月10日。這代表微軟今後不會再為Windows 8.1提供定期的功能／安全性的更新，只會在重大漏洞或嚴重性更新時，才可能會得到免費的安全更新。至於Windows 8.1的發佈是在2013年10月，而上一次進入「延伸支援」的為Windows 7，將會在2020年1月14日結束。

 

現時，Windows 7/Windws 8.1用戶，可以透過「輔助技術」免費升級成Windows 10。而免費升級的時間，也僅限於2018年1月16日前，這也是最後微軟確認的日期，過了這日期便需要以正價，包括Windows 10 Home （電子下載版）的HK$1,369，以及Windows 10 Pro（電子下載版）的HK$2,339，以購買正版的Windows 10操作系統。
