Windows 7 大限將至，微軟會在今個月會停止這系統的延伸支援，但是 Google 宣佈為 Windows 7 版 Chrome 用戶提供額外支援。
Google Cloud 最近為使用 Windows 7 的企業發出忠告，提醒他們最好升級到 Windows 10。如果沒有升級的話，針對 Windows 7 版本 Chrome 的支援會在微軟停止延伸支援 18 個月之後到期，即 2021 年 7 月 15 日。這宣佈會讓仍未升級或正在升級的企業用戶使用 Chrome 的時候仍然受到保障，例如安全瀏覽、網域隔離、密碼和防釣魚保護等等。

微軟會在美西時間 2020 年 1 月 14 日停止延伸支援 Windows 7 ，早前已經通知用戶仍然使用 Windows 7 的系統保安風險，唯企業用戶可以透過付款延長系統支援到 2023 年。因此，大家還是將 Windows 7 升級到 Windows 10，讓系統和軟件同時獲得保障。
