策略變了 Windows 10 S 變成現有版本下其中一種模式

早前，微軟公布會為了教育界，推出簡化版的 Windows 10 S，作為對抗 ChromeBook 的武器。不過，最大的限制是只可運行來自 Microsoft Store 的應用程式。不過，微軟最近表示，關於 Windows 10 S 的策略已經有所轉變。

微軟副主席 Joe Belfiore 於 Twitter 上表示，以企業及教育界為對象的目的不變，但不會成為一個獨立的 Windows 10 版本，而會是各版本 Windows 10 之下的一種模式。

換言之，不論是 Windows 10 Home，還是 Windows 10 Pro，都可以 S Mode 的形式出現。若本身是 Home 版本，用家可以隨時免費解除限制變回普通版 Windows 10 Home。若原本是 Windows 10 Pro，則要付出 49 美元才可解除限制。

微軟沒有透露 S Mode 的實際推出日期，只知將會於明年與大家見面。
