對應視像會議潮流　網頁版WhatsApp將加入視像通話功能

除了手機版程式外，熱門即時通訊程式 WhatsApp 亦有推出網頁版，方便用家於電腦使用。不過，網頁版 WhatsApp 向來比手機版 WhatsApp 於功能上有所缺欠，往往要過一段時間後才會加入一些早已出現於手機版的功能。好消息是，網頁版 WhatsApp 將會於未來數星期內加入視像通話功能。

向來有跟進 WhatsApp 最新消息的網站 WABetaInfo 指出，WhatsApp 推出最新的網頁版，版本號碼更新為 2.2043.7。於這個版本中，可以顯示出 WhatsApp 計劃於未來為網頁版加入視像通話功能。只要用家使用的是配備網路攝影機的電腦，就可以與手機版一樣，與其他人進行單對單或是群組視像通話。如果一切順利，有望於未來數星期正式加入此功能。

今時今日，視像會議已是十分普及。很多人都會選擇 Zoom 及 Google Meet。雖然 WhatsApp 十分普及，但因 WhatsApp 向來只可於手機上使用視像通話功能，對用家而言有時未必適合。當 WhatsApp 於網頁版加入視像通話功能，變相成為了視像會議程式的另一個實用及可行的選擇。
