Bandai Namco Entertainment 正式發表《超級機戰人大戰 T》，預定在 2019 年開售，在發佈《機戰 T》同時，也在手機平台發佈《超級機戰人大戰 DD》 （本作）。

本作收錄多個作品，包括《勇者王》、《機動戰士 Z 高達》、《機動戰士高達馬沙之反擊》、《機動戰士高達 UC》、《福音戰士新劇場版：序／破》、《叛逆的魯魯修》、《革命機 Valvrave》、《ZEGAPAIN》、《惡魔人》、《真蓋特機器人世界最後之日》，《魔神凱撒》等等作品會在手機上出現。預告片也顯示本作的主題曲是 D.D （Dimension Diver），主唱依然是 JAM Project。

另外本作會新增原創機體和角色，包括機體迪達里昂、梅拉弗汀、古拉弗汀，以及角色迪度、大門惠留、優奈．唐森和安奇魯昂。

本作依然採取傳統回合制，但會推出全新型態「Auto」功能，不論是劇情和戰鬥都是自動的，大大減少遊玩時間。

《超級機戰人大戰 DD》預定 2019 年登陸 iOS/Android 平台，與《超級機戰人大戰 T》一樣，《機戰 DD》支援香港繁中版和台灣繁中版，事前登錄活動已開啟。事前登錄人數破 10 萬者可以獲得多個道具，包括 SSR「惠的激勵」支援機組零件、大量 D 水晶、能力強化素材 R/SR、SR「神劍一擊」迪達里昂專用機組零件、記憶寶珠等等。
