【鐵幕已落下】 Steam 修改轉區規則防止 VPN 翻牆買平 Game

Valve 最近向玩家發出公告，指他們修改了 Steam 商店裡面的設定，要求轉換地區的玩家需要先使用所在地區的付款方式購買遊戲，才能夠完成轉區程序。

不少人可能會透過轉區購買地區限定遊戲，或購買便宜的遊戲，但透過 VPN 翻牆購買遊戲的做法，有可能會令收入不高的國家難以購買遊戲。Steam Database 的 Twitter 分享了這公告，形容這個措施可以防止人們利用 VPN 購買便宜遊戲。

雖然這措施令不少收入不高的國家也能買遊戲，但是對某「其他國家」的玩家來說，他們會很難翻牆買遊戲了。
