Sony互動娛樂CEO首度回應PS5硬盤問題！

PS5雖然光碟版和數字版的容量都是825GB，但扣除系統佔用空間後，只有約664GB可用空間。而次世代遊戲容量的不斷變大，以及初期不支援擴充SSD，加上早前PC3和其他網媒報導的PS5變磚問題，這都令玩家產生了煩惱。

Sony互動娛樂CEO吉姆·瑞安在接受《每日電訊報》採訪時，被問及是否擔心PS5的儲存會出現問題，他說「當玩家們打開他們的PS主機開始玩的時候，當然我們就會關注到主機上發生了什麼事情。我們認為我們的設計非常OK，而且我們能夠監控PS4上的硬盤使用情況，我們看到的一切都表明，應該會沒問題的。」

當然，作為Sony互動娛樂CEO，吉姆·瑞安肯定不會對他們剛剛發布的新主機的硬盤容量和性能產生懷疑，但他的回應更偏向儲存空間容量上，而非正面肯定硬碟性能的可靠，而儲存空間的看法似乎與微軟對於Xbox Series S的儲存容量的理由相呼應，而XSS只有大約364GB的可用容量，很多玩家會在通關舊遊戲之後刪除，再安裝新的遊戲。
