《超音鼠大電影》差點改變小編的認知，在電影的超音鼠雖然快如音速，但牠那對連在一起的招牌雙眼卻變成兩個小洞……後來在重新塑造之後，上映後依然成為美國票房冠軍。

因此，派拉蒙和 Sega Sammy 決定製作《超音鼠大電影》續集電影，Variety 網站指該續集電影再度由 Jeff Fowler 執導，Pat Casey 和 Josh Miller 編劇，但演員陣營未確定，根據主演陣容或製作開始日期，電影仍然在開發階段，因此未有任何決定。[the_ad_placement id=”ad2″]

電影《超音鼠大電影》首部預告片因為造型問題被粉絲批評，後來電影官方重新塑造超音鼠特別是眼睛的造型之後，上映短短三日的首周末獲 5800 萬票房，第 4 日累積 7000 萬美元，超過電影《POKÉMON 神探Pikachu》。有分析師指電影的成功是觀眾對首段預告片反應，從而關注重新塑造後的超音鼠。
