時代的轉變 三星表示今年內將停止生產 LCD 面板

一直以來，三星都有生產 LCD 面板，供給自家及其他品牌的產品使用。可是，隨著科技發展，LED 技術已經普及，取代了 LCD 的地位。三星亦決定，將於本年內停止生產 LCD 面板。

三星公布，他們將於本年內停止生產 LCD 面板，其中一個主要原因是他們留意到市場對此需求已日漸減少。話雖如此，若有品牌早前已向他們下單訂購，他們仍會於今年內完成訂單。

目前，三星有兩家生產 LCD 面板的廠房，分別於南韓本土及中國大陸。早前三星已決定，未來五年投資逾十億美元，將南韓的 LCD 面板生產線改為生產配備量子點技術的顯示器。至於中國大陸的廠房，未知日後何去何從。
