蘋果高層爆料：高通拒絕為 iPhone XS/XS Max/XR 提供網絡晶片

蘋果因不滿高通濫收專利權費用以來，與高通的官司處於下風，在中國部分 iPhone 被判侵權，在德國部分 iPhone 更被禁售，蘋果被迫用 Intel 製作 iPhone XS/XR 系列。

官司開始以來，市場一直認為蘋果為了擺脫高通依賴，在 iPhone 改用 Intel 網絡晶片，但據一場官司卻暗示 iPhone 被迫改用 Intel 晶片的另外原因。

美國聯邦貿易委員會（FTC）早前針對高通壟斷網絡晶片市場舉行的官司，蘋果營運總裁 Jeff Williams 作供時指，蘋果希望繼續用高通的 4G LTE 網絡晶片到全新 iPhone，但因為官司關係，高通不願意。蘋果和高通因為專利權費用問題而反面，Jeff Williams 更在作供時更指，高通向每部 iPhone 收 US$7.5 專利權費用是過高。

過去蘋果一直依賴高通製造的網絡晶片，但從 iPhone 7 開始，iPhone 改用了 Intel 晶片，而現售的 iPhone XS/XS Max/XR 只使用 Intel 網絡晶片。
