SONY 副社長爆料：PS5 與 PS4 玩家將可一起享受遊戲！

也許大家要等年多兩年時間才能正式感受 PlayStation 5 遊戲主機的零載入時間遊玩體驗，但有關 PlayStation 5 的情報仍然不停曝光當中。

除了《Fami 通》「發功」之外，PlayStation 內部也有很多暗示，在 SONY IR Day 2019 投資者會議，SONY 副社長小寺剛卻為玩家打一下支強心針，指「跨世代社群可以一起享受遊戲」。

這也許暗示著同一 PS4 遊戲之中，用 PS5 或 PS4 主機的玩家可以實現跨世代主機互聯，即使利用不同世代的遊戲主機，連上網絡也能一起玩，這亦可能暗示 PS5 主機可以向下兼容 PS4 遊戲。SIE 社長 Jim Ryan 早前亦透露在網絡世代，「向下兼容」變得非常強大，它可以提供一個將 PS4 社群遷移到下一世代的機會，以及使用下一代遊戲主機遊玩 PS4 遊戲的能力。
