為了慶祝每年 2 月 27 日寶可夢生日，《Pokémon GO》特別在 2 月 27 日清晨起至 2 月 28 日止舉行特別的寶可夢日活動。
活動期間，諸如「波波」、「小拉達」、「綠毛蟲」等在《精靈寶可夢 紅/綠》及《精靈寶可夢 Let’s Go！皮卡丘／Let’s Go！伊布》冒險初期登場的寶可夢出現機率將會提高，未到 40 等級的你，又可以再次使出開服初期的「波波升級大法」，大量提升訓練員等級。另外，如果運氣夠好，異色的「波波」或「小拉達」可能會出現。

除此之外，來自關都地區的寶可夢將會出現在團體戰中，戴著花飾的皮卡丘和伊布將會出沒，或成為田野調查的獎勵中。
