Square Enix（SE）在昨日的網上直播番組之中宣佈，他們正在開發家用機版《勇者鬥惡龍怪獸篇》系列續作。
在網絡直播之中，遊戲官方公開了由鳥山明設計的原畫，顯示男女主角 カミュ 和 マヤ 小時候的樣子，カミュ 和 マヤ 兩人曾在《勇者鬥惡龍 XI》登場，除此之外並沒有其他明確情報公開。

《勇者鬥惡龍怪獸篇：特瑞的仙境 SP》日本 App Store/Google Play 上架
另外，Square Enix 宣佈 iOS/Android 版手遊《ドラゴンクエストモンスターズ テリーのワンダーランドSP》（勇者鬥惡龍怪獸篇：特瑞的仙境 SP）已經在日本 App Store 和日本 Google Play 上架。遊戲以 1998 年《勇者鬥惡龍怪獸篇：特瑞仙境》作為藍本，並移植到手機之中，並因應觸控螢幕優化。
