市場一向樂觀地指 AirPower 正在生產中，但是蘋果似乎要令大家失望了，就在新一代 AirPods 推出的同時，蘋果移除了原本在 AirPods 網站的 AirPower 充電板的照片。

新一代 AirPods 以及 AirPower 在 2017 年 9 月 iPhone 8/X 發佈會發佈，新一代 AirPods 終於推出了，但 AirPower 卻因為開發問題延遲至今，未能趕及在預定的 2018 年推出。

不過，市場仍然對 AirPower 是否能夠推出有信心，華爾街日報就在同一時間指蘋果已經批准量產「走數」已久的 AirPower，支持早前不少供應鏈消息以及分析師的預期。

蘋果今周連續多日發佈了新產品，似乎要一洗 3 月 25 日發佈會的硬件傳聞，星期一發佈新 iPad Air/mini、星期二發佈新 iMac，而星期三就是 AirPods，但目前未有可信情報指，星期四和星期五有新品推出，因此「走數」至今並已經從蘋果官網消失的 AirPower 是否能順利推出，仍然是未知之數。
