NASA設計超音速民用客機 同時減少噪音及飛行時間！望5年內投入市場

NASA設計了一款超音速民用客機，有望減少飛行時間，而引擎噪音更比協和式客機低。

8月份開始，NASA將開始尋找飛機製造商投標，將該款飛機帶到現實，計劃預計在未來5年內將耗資近4億美元。計劃希望推出可在商業市場上運作的飛機，以應付日益俱增的高速航空需求。NASA 會與飛機製造商分享設計，包括Lockheed Martin、General Dynamics、甚至是已經一直在這超音速市場努力的Boom。

NASA的設計有一部分來自Lockheed製作的，並計劃噪音水平會與高速公路上行走的貴價車差不多，大約60-65分貝，而協和式客機則達90分貝。NAS計劃最終在2020年前，可在密集人口地區測試該款飛機，而有關的條例相信會作出修改，Boom亦已計劃於明年測試飛機，看來飛機製造商市場終於開始有競爭了。
