CAPCOM 近日為《Monster Hunter: World》發表多項新情報，其中《巫師 3:狂獵》會與本作合作聯乘，以及發表《Iceborne》超大擴張內容。
《巫師 3:狂獵》聯乘合作活動
《Monster Hunter: World》會在 2019 年初與 CD PROJEKT RED 開發的《巫師 3:狂獵》進行聯乘活動，《巫師》系列主人公傑洛特會來到調查團所在的新大陸，傑洛特原版配音員將錄製聯乘合作專用的語音(語音: 英、法、義、德、西、日及魔物獵人語言)，並糅合《巫師 3:狂獵》和《Monster Hunter: World》玩家系統，為玩家帶來獨特任務。
《Monster Hunter: World》與《巫師 3:狂獵》的聯乘活動會在 2019 年初配信，未來會有更多本次聯乘活動情報公開。

更多活動來了！歷戰王絢輝龍登場
在聯乘任務之前，歷戰王絢輝龍登場， HR16 以上的玩家可以在 12 月 20 日至翌年 1 月 3 日參加特殊任務「狂亂的黃金鄉」，在地脈黃金鄉大戰在歷戰王「絢輝龍」。玩家如果積極攻擊「絢輝龍」身上的黃金，絢輝龍有機會變身 「憤怒粗暴狀態」，甚至有機會出現更高階的彩虹框作為報酬。

1 週年紀念活動──星辰祭「感謝之宴」
CAPCOM 趁《Monster Hunter: World》發售將近 1 週年會在遊戲舉辦星辰祭「感謝之宴」。除了過去星辰祭內容，還包括 1 週年特別任務，可能會獲得獨家的特別裝備。

PS4 版「Monster Hunter: World 體驗版」限定配信
從 12 月 12 日至 17 日，PS4 版《Monster Hunter: World》體驗版會限定配信，玩家可以免費試玩本作。玩家可以從最初玩家 HR4‧等級 ★3 為止的劇情，也可跟本作其他獵人們進行線上聯機，體驗版存檔還能夠繼承到遊戲本篇。

超大型擴張內容《Iceborne》2019 年秋天登場
除了各項聯乘活動之外，CAPCOM 也發表超大型擴張內容《Monster Hunter World: Iceborne》，相對於至今為止的「G」系列，本次《Iceborne》將追加新的任務等級、動作、地 區、魔物和武器防具，而劇情將接著《Monster Hunter: World》的結局，發展更豐富的故事。
《Monster Hunter World: Iceborne》超大型擴充內容預計在 2019 年秋天登陸 PS4，PC 版發售日期不明，遊玩此擴充內容需要《Monster Hunter: World》遊戲本篇(製品版)。
