萬維網（World Wide Web）在 1989 年從英國科學家 Tim Berners-Lee 發明至今，已經 30 周年了，在這 30 年以來萬維網改變了電腦發展，連繫全球用戶，改變世界局勢。
萬維網誕生後 30 年期間，其中一個最大的受益者是微軟，不少人因為微軟而接觸萬維網，而微軟在萬維網 30 歲生日的時候在 Twitter 以一張經典照片慶祝：五部 CRT 螢幕，同樣顯示 5 個 Windows 95 系統，微軟表示 Windows 95 推出幫助微軟進入「互聯網大潮」，藉此慶祝萬維網 30 周年以及回顧過去。

後來微軟創辦人 Bill Gates 轉發了帖子說，他很幸運在數碼革命期間仍然年青，有機會與一眾微軟同事締造互聯網生態。慶祝萬維網 30 周年令他懷舊 1995 年的情況。
