現時，不同科技巨頭都有發展自家的人工智能技術，例如 Google 有 Gemini，蘋果有 Apple Intelligence，微軟則有 Copilot，而 Meta 亦有 Meta AI，並開始應用於旗下程式。不過 Meta 最近公布，他們的 iOS 版程式已經對 Apple Intelligence 下「封殺令」，為甚麼會如此狠心？

Meta 不許用家在旗下程式使用 Apple Intelligence

自蘋果開放 Apple Intelligence 予用家們，過往 iPhone 及 iPad 用家使用各款程式，包括 Facebook、WhatsApp 及 Google 搜尋等，都可以應用 Apple Intelligence，例如使用 Genmoji 及寫作工具。不過在最近，iPhone 及 iPad 用家們會發現只要是使用 Meta 旗下的程式，包括 Facebook、Instagram 及 Threads，都不可在當中使用 Apple Intelligence 的不同功能。

例如當 iPhone 用家在 Facebook 的搜尋欄長按文字輸入框時，將無法再使用 Apple Intelligence 的寫作工具。值得一提的是，其他第三方應用程式例如 X、Telegram 及 Signal 等，只要不是 Meta 旗下，暫時並沒有被封殺的風險。

為何 Meta 要對蘋果用家如此決絕？

對於 Meta 不許 iPhone 及 iPad 用家在他們旗下的程式內使用 Apple Intelligence，其中一個可能的原因是與 Meta 的策略有關。他們希望用家使用他們旗下的人工智能 Meta AI，而非 Apple Intelligence。由於 Meta AI 現已可在幾乎所有 Meta 應用程式中使用，並具備創建、編輯文本和生成圖像等功能，所以可以用來取代 Apple Intelligence。

另有分析認為，事件還可能與 Apple 與 Meta 之間合作失敗有關。本來兩個巨頭有意合作，讓Meta 旗下的 Llama 模型整合至 Apple Intelligence，但因 Meta AI 違反蘋果的隱私政策，所以合作告吹。當蘋果轉向跟 OpenAI 合作，整合了 ChatGPT 至 Siri，Meta 則索性連 Apple Intelligence 都不許用家使用復仇。至於真正原因是甚麼，以至日後會否有轉機，相信只有 Meta 自己才知道。
