陰乾 iTunes！傳 Mac 版 iTunes 或分拆出獨立的電視、音樂和 Podcast App！

iTunes 過去是蘋果的多媒體綜合軟件，不論是購買和同步音樂和影片，或是同步軟件，都是在 iTunes 完成，但是，自從蘋果在 2019 年推出多種影音串流服務之後，蘋果欲開始陰乾 iTunes。

9to5Mac 的 Guilherme Rambo 和爆料狂人 Steve Troughton-Smith 爆料，蘋果希望分拆 iTunes 的音樂、串流影片和 Podcast 功能成為獨立的應用程式，以 UIKit 形式從相應的 iOS App 移植過去，介面就像手機 App 般。配合 Apple Music、Apple News+ 和 Apple TV+，從 iTunes 分拆出來的 macOS App 可能包括音樂、Podcast、TV，以及用作取代 iBooks 的書籍 App。

分拆出音樂、Podcast、TV 獨立 App 後，macOS 版 iTunes 其實仍然有作用，除了可以同步或備份 iOS 裝置的檔案、影片和音樂之外，也許還可像 iOS 的 iTunes Store 般，只用作出售或出租影片、音樂以及鈴聲。

當然有關傳聞只是流傳階段，要知道蘋果是否真的要分拆和陰乾 10 多年歷史的 macOS 版 iTunes，只能等待可能在今年 WWDC 2019 發佈的 macOS 10.15 beta 了。
