White Panda 在 Twitter 和 Reddit 分享自己的 MacBook Pro 大爆炸經歷，有一天下午使用「正常使用」MacBook Pro，他將筆電放在腳上、插上電源、但兩邊突然出現大量濃煙。White Panda 快手將著火的 MacBook Pro 放在地上，有毒濃煙不停噴出並觸動了警鐘。幸運地，今次事件沒有人受傷，但他擔心如果事情在飛機上會變成怎麼樣。

Apple Store 聲稱送修 24 小時有回覆，但 DJ 卻等了 5 日

數小時後，White Panda 就將燒壞了的 MacBook Pro 送到 Apple Store 維修，員工聲稱會在 24 小時後聯絡他，但過了 5 日並沒有回覆，他供稱自己從事音樂行業，MacBook Pro 是他的謀生工具，要他 5 日沒有電腦使用是不能接受。

雖然目前有關 MacBook 和 iOS 裝置的電池爆炸個案佔全體蘋果裝置（2019 年 1 月有 14 億）很少部分，但含有鋰電池的製品壽命始終有限。如果察覺到電池出現了問題，請將 MacBook Pro 送到最近的 Apple Store 或蘋果授權維修中心進行維修。
