正名了！熊本縣吉祥物「KUMAMON」中文名稱終於改做「熊本熊」！

熊本縣的吉祥物「KUMAMON」，有一個大家耳熟能詳的非官方中文名「熊本熊」，不久的未來，「熊本熊」這個中文名終於獲得正名了。

熊本縣在 2013 年曾為「KUMAMON」起正式的中文名稱「酷MA萌」，取其發音相似，但使用數年無法在華人建立形象，對比「酷MA萌」「熊本熊」這個名字竟然比常見，加上「酷MA萌」被中國有心人士鑽法律漏洞搶註商標，考慮「熊本熊」這名字更能有效地推廣熊本縣旅遊，熊本縣決定將「KUMAMON」的中文官方名稱正名為「熊本熊」。

另外熊本縣亦指「KUMAMON」關連商品銷量創新高，達 1505 億日圓，累積銷量達 6600 億日圓，因此「KUMAMON」正名「熊本熊」後，可繼續吸引華人到熊本縣旅行。
