幪面超人 50 周年新電影《新．幪面超人》超特報！確認庵野秀明執導

繼《真·哥斯拉》和《福音戰士新劇場版》之後，導演庵野秀明又再執導新作品。

東映在《幪面超人》系列 50 周年的企劃發表會中公開全新特攝電影《シン‧仮面ライダー》（暫譯：新．幪面超人），並公開兩段影片。其中 24 秒的超特報影片在初代《幪面超人》特攝片主題曲的歌聲之中，影片官方公佈庵野秀明成為本作的導演。《シン‧仮面ライダー》預定 2023 年在日本上映。

《幪面超人 BLACK》2022 年重新啟動

在公開全新電影《シン‧仮面ライダー》的同時，東映宣佈會以《幪面超人 BLACK SUN》的名義重啟《幪面超人 BLACK》系列，以白石和彌執導，預定 2022 年播出。另外東映亦公佈會將《幪面超人 W》衍伸的漫畫《風都偵探》改編成動畫，預期會在 2022 年夏天播出。
