iPhone XS 和 XS Max 採用 600MHz LTE 配 4×4 MIMO，究竟這個組合可以令網速提升多少？最近 OpenSignal 提供了關鍵數據。

OpenSignal 從 2018 年 10 月 26 日至 2019 年 1 月 24 日從美國收集 iPhone 的網速數據，發現 iPhone XS 和 XS Max 的網速比 2015-2017 年的 iPhone 快 26%，當中以 XS Max 網速最快，達 21.7Mbps，XS 網速也有 20.5Mbps。不過，iPhone XR 只支援 2×2 MIMO，網速只有 17.6Mbps，比 iPhone X 的 18.5Mbps 為慢。

OpenSignal 是一個測量手機在指定電訊商和地方的網絡速度的應用程式，因此他們可以輕易搜集和綜合分析有關網速數據，證實 iPhone XS/XS Max/XR 系列手機的網速。

iPhone 作為旗艦級手機，在採用電訊技術方面很保守，蘋果不是第一次。2007 年 3G 普及的時候，但初代 iPhone 仍然只有 2G。4G（LTE）開始普及了，但蘋果要到 2012 年的 iPhone 5 才支援 4G。基於 Intel 5G 晶片開發進度，蘋果可能要到 2020 年才推出 5G 版 iPhone，但今年不少 Android 手機開始採用 5G 技術。
