iPhone X 在 2017 年 9 月發佈，1 年後，它已經下架。AirPower 無線充電板在 2017 年 9 月發佈，但至今仍未推出，蘋果甚至將 AirPower 低調處理，從 iPhone XS 和 XS Max 的網頁消失。
拖延了足足 1 年，究竟 AirPower 究竟幾時有？原來 iPhone XS 也有提示，iPhone XS 在 9 月 21 日出貨，於是包裝盒內的說明書、USB 插頭、Lightning 線和 EarPods 也曝光。有開發者 Gavin Stevens 在 iPhone XS 說明書之中發現了一個有趣的文字：
