配合iOS 14.2即可使用　iPhone 8或以後新增支援FaceTime HD

早前，蘋果為 iPhone 6s 或以後的機款推出 iOS 14.2，加入多項新功能。原來，蘋果還有準備隱藏的新功能，適用於 iPhone 8 或以後的機款，就是追加支援全高清的 FaceTime 視像通話。

巴西媒體MacMagazine留意到，iPhone XR規格頁面於iOS 14.2推出前與推出後有所不同。本來iPhone XR是不支援FaceTime HD(1080p)的，但於iOS 14.2推出後，規格頁面就列明支援FaceTime HD(1080p)視像通話。

除了iPhone XR，iPhone 8及iPhone X亦受惠於iOS 14.2系統更新，變成支援FaceTime HD(1080p)。不過同樣是可以安裝iOS 14.2的iPhone 6s/7，即使已經安裝了此版本iOS，都不能使用FaceTime HD(1080p)。

值得一提的是，iPhone 12系列與其他較舊版本iPhone不同，當用家欲使用FaceTime HD(1080p)時，除了可以透過Wi-Fi進行，亦可以利用5G流動數據。
