iOS 13 功能多多，但幾乎所有焦點都落在深色模式之中，但是在後來公開的 iOS 13 Preview 一頁，卻將所有欲推出的功能列出了，其中 iOS 13 在電池壽命方面加入了新功能。

在 iOS 13 Preview 一頁，你可以看到在電池方面新增名為「Optimized battery charging」的功能。這功能 iPhone 從你日常使用之中學習，它會先充電滿 80% 電池，然後等待用戶使用 iPhone，才會再充剩下的 20% 電量，iOS 的說明聲稱這樣做可以減緩 iPhone 手機電池老化。

新增的「Optimized battery charging」在設定 App 的「電池」→「電池效能」介面「高峰效能容量」下方，預設是開啟，如果關閉它，會彈出視窗，向用戶說明「Optimized battery charging」減慢電池老化。
