就在蘋果發佈會完結之前，蘋果宣佈 iOS 12.1 正式推出。如無意外會在香港/台灣時間 10 月 31 日凌晨 1 時正式釋出。iOS 12.1 新增多個功能，但在蘋果發佈會之中， Tim Cook 親口告訴你 iOS 12.1 的 3 個更新重點。

群組 Facetime

Facetime 終於支援多人同時連線了，iOS 12.1 開始 Facetime 支援高達 32 人的群組對話。

iPhone XS/XR 的雙 sim 卡功能

在 iOS 12.1 開始，iPhone XS 系列和 iPhone XR 正式支援雙 SIM 卡功能，國際版會使用 SIM 卡加 eSIM 配置，你可在不同國家購買支援的 eSIM 計劃在各國上網。

雙 SIM 卡功能在中國版和港澳版 iPhone XS/XR 有不同設定，中國版和港澳版 iPhone XR 和 iPhone XS Max 是設有實體雙 SIM 卡，港澳版 iPhone XS 跟隨國際版使用 SIM + eSIM，但中國版 iPhone XS 只支援單 SIM。

70 個全新 emoji

早前蘋果宣佈會在 iOS 12.1 推出 70 個全新 emoji，包派對臉、指南針、行山鞋、月餅、利是、壘球、袋棍球、滑板、大羊駝、蚊、浣熊、天鵝、生菜、鹽、貝果、紙杯蛋糕、龍蝦等等 emoji 都收錄在內。
