被指結束開發 10nm 處理器　Intel：開發仍然繼續

手機處理器製程越來越先進，7nm 製程處理器也出現的時候，Intel 被指在 10nm 製程處理器開發進程遇到苦戰。

Intel 在 Intel News 的 Twitter 帳號指，有傳媒報導 Intel 正在停止 10nm 製程開發工作，但有關報導是錯誤的，他們會繼續 10nm 的的開發工作，良率亦不停止升。

會出現這個 Tweet 的原因，是因為有外國網站 SemiAccurate 指原本在 2016 年推出的 Intel 10nm 「Cannon Lake」處理器終止開發，原因是生產困難導致大幅延遲。

目前幾乎所有筆電都會使用 Intel 處理器，但蘋果被傳會在 2020 年至 2021 年改用 ARM 架構處理器，全面控制蘋果產品的開發工作以及推出時間。如果蘋果能夠將 Mac 轉換 x86 架構到 x64 架構的話，Intel 在筆電的地位將受到衝擊。
