Bandai Namco 在「機動戰士高達 40 周年」的企劃發佈會之中，除了公開了《機動戰士高達》 40 周年的標誌、視覺圖片以及預定 2020 年夏天實現的可動 1:1 高達「ガンダム GLOBAL CHALLENGE」計劃之外，還宣佈多項電影、電視劇重製版以及舞台劇新作品，部分新作品其實在 4 月已經發佈，今次官方公佈大約的電影上映或電視劇重製振播放日期。
