Google 在美東時間 10 月 9 日正式發佈 Pixel 3 和 Pixel 3 XL 手機。
今次 Google 重點介紹 Pixel 3 系列手機的鏡頭功能，配合 AI 和機器學習，Pixel 3 系列手機的 1220 萬像素機背主鏡頭拍攝能力更一流，「Top Shot」功能可以以 AI 形式從一連串連拍之中尋找最美的一幀照片、「Super Res Zoom」功能可在拍攝之後以 AI 形式修剪照片至最美的構圖。「Night Sight」功能令昏暗環境的照片變得更亮。前置鏡頭是雙鏡頭模組，支援廣角自拍，配合「Photobooth」功能令你在自拍的時候，手機可以偵測自拍者的笑容並在無需按快門下進行拍攝。

另外 Pixel 3 亦獨家支援「Playground」AR 貼圖，在照片中加入不同人物例如 Ironman、Childish Gambino。「Playground」功能將來會向下支援 Pixel 2 和 Pixel 手機。

規格方面，Pixel 3 和 Pixel 3 XL 手機分別有 5.5 吋或 6.3 吋 OLED 螢幕，內建 Snapdragon 845、4GB 記憶體、64GB/128GB 儲存空間、安裝 Android 9 Pie，並支援 Google Assistant，機身上下立體聲音響音量高 40%。Pixel 3 也提供了防垃圾來電功能（Call Screen）、翻轉手機的勿擾模式、Titan 系統安全等等功能。

Google Pixel 3 系列提供純粹黑、清晰白和淺粉紅，在 Project Fi 網站 Pixel 3 售價 US$799 起，Pixel 3 XL 售價 US$899 起，預計 10 月 17 日開始出貨，銷售地區有 13 個，包括日本和台灣，但依然沒有計劃在香港開售，購買 Pixel 3 或 3 XL 會贈送 YouTube Music 6 個月。

除了 Pixel 3 和 Pixel 3 XL，Google 還推出了 Pixel Stand 無線充電座，將 Pixel 3 放上 Pixel Stand 之後，介面可變成像 Google Home 一樣可以播放照片、查詢天氣和每日狀況等等，Pixel Stand 售價為 US$79。
