平日我們於 Google 輸入實質的問題，例如是如何烹調牛扒、計算算式，Google 除了會顯示不同的搜尋結果，亦會於當眼位置直接顯示問題的答案連同相關連結。不過，這個連結可能會與隨後的搜尋結果有所重覆，並無意義。Google 表示，他們已改善此情況。

If a web page listing is elevated into the featured snippet position, we no longer repeat it in the first page of results. This declutters the results & helps users locate relevant information more easily. Featured snippets count as one of the ten web page listings we show….

Google 表示，自昨天起他們已改善顯示搜尋結果的機制。若於搜尋結果開端已顯示問題的答案並附上相關的網址連結，之後就不會重覆顯示同一搜尋結果。不過，每一頁仍會維持十個獨立的搜尋結果，不會因與以前做法不同而有所減少。

若有重複顯示的搜尋結果，眾人多會選擇按下較前顯示的那個連結，而不會理會之後才顯示的同一連結。Google 的做法，雖然只是小動作，但卻是合適而應做的改善措施。
