高達迷注意！ 日本橫濱巨型高達面世

 為了慶祝《機動戰士高達》系列作品誕生40周年，高達GLOBAL CHALLENGE與日本橫濱市在2019年攜手合作，在橫濱山下碼頭的主題樂園「橫濱高達工廠（GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA）」，打造高達18公尺、重25公噸，與動畫原著機型同等大小的高達。

橫濱巨型高達

巨型高達裝置在日本並不算首見，但橫濱這架高達最特別之處，就是它能真的「動起來」，而官方也特別為此設計故事線，在《機動戰士高達》系列中的宇宙世紀0079年，由主角阿寶（Amuro Ray）駕駛的RX-78-2（初代高達）在戰爭中消失無蹤。

此後，極東亞洲地區地球聯邦軍在橫濱高達工廠近郊，找到了大量不明高達殘骸。來自各領域的工程師秘密聚集於橫濱，研究、分析、再建造找到的零件部位，重新組裝出眼前的高達，並將其命名為「RX-78F00」。

「最大可動人形機械人」

主辦單位也邀請了早稻田、中京等日本知名大學專家與技術菁英，為RX-78F00注入「動能」，期間拍攝了20集系列影片紀錄，至今已可做出向前走2步、單膝下跪、手指向天空等動作，更拿到金氏世界紀錄認證：目前世上「最大可動人形機械人」以及「最大可動型高達」。
