【好消息不妨重溫】WhatsApp 備份將不再計算入用家 Google Drive 空間限額

為防手機會無故死機而導致 WhatsApp 所有備份一次過消失，用家當然需要建立定時備份對話紀錄的習慣。對 Android 用家而言，除了可以將備份檔存於手機的外置記憶卡，亦可將備份檔上傳至用家的 Google Drive 內。不過，向來這會直接佔用 Google Drive 有限的空間限額，並不方便。不過，很快這不再是一個問題。

 

最近，WhatsApp 與 Google 已達成協議。由今年十一月十二日起，所有上傳至 Google Drive 的 WhatsApp 備份檔，不論有多大，都不會計算入用家原有的 Google Drive 空間限額內。日後，用家不用再擔心 WhatsApp 的備份檔太大而導致 Google Drive 空間不足了。

 

 

不過，WhatsApp 同時亦有規定若存放於 Google Drive 的備份檔於一年內沒有任何變更，將會自動被刪除。所以，若大家不希望十一月十二日過後原有放於 Google Drive 的 WhatsApp 備份檔會一下子消失，記得在在個多月內，最少進行一次備份，那就萬無一失了。
