【武漢肺炎】傳 E3 2020 陷停辦危機　創意指導團隊已宣佈退出

武漢肺炎（COVID-19）打擊展覽行業，MWC 2020、F8、GDC、Google I/O 不是停辦、延遲就是改用網上形式進行，避免人群接觸，全球最大的遊戲展之一 E3 2020 會在 6 月 9 日至 11 日舉行，但美國的武漢肺炎疫情擴大之下，E3 2020 也陷入停辦危機。

雖然 E3 主辦機構 ESA 聲言會繼續籌備 E3 2020，但開始有跡象顯示今年的 E3 有機會停辦，Ars Technica 聲稱收到主辦機構 ESA 的情報顯示，今年的 E3「已確定取消，隨後公佈詳情」。在 E3 被傳聞取消之前，遊戲發行商 Devolver Digital 發 Tweet 呼籲大家取消來回 E3 大會（即是洛杉磯）的機票和酒店。

另外，負責展區創意指導的 Iam8bit 團隊在 Twitter 懷著沈重心情宣佈辭去今次 E3 2020 展區相關工作，對 E3 大會來說更是重大打擊。

E3 2020 是全球最大型的遊戲展覽之一，每年初夏會在美國洛杉磯會展中心舉辦，吸引大量遊戲廠商參加，過去 SONY 有參展，但從 2019 年開始因為要籌備 PS5 主機推出而兩度缺席。目前 E3 2020 正在盡力籌備中，並沒有對取消大會的傳聞作出回應，但如果上述的傳聞是真，E3 2020 是否保得住也是一個疑問。
