Apple TV Channels 5 月推出支援 100+ 地區
Apple TV Channels 作為 Apple TV App 的新功能，集合多家頻道包括 CBS All Access、HBO、The History Channel 等等的海量內容。無需轉 App，你就可以在重新設計的 Apple TV App 之中進入 iTunes 購買租借影片，在 Apple TV Channels 觀看體育賽事、新聞和網絡電視，你只需要為你收看的內容付費就可以了。配合 Apple TV Channel，Apple TV 亦提供傳統電視無法提供的體驗，例如看電影時跳過片頭、從預覽到全屏觀看更自然等等的功能。
Apple TV Channels 會在 5 月的 iOS/tvOS 更新推出，但沒有提及訂閱價格資訊，與此同時，Apple TV App 將延伸支援至 100+ 國家或地區。另外，蘋果亦宣佈 Apple TV App 衝出 iPhone、iPad 和 Apple TV，在秋天新增支援 Mac 機、Samsung、LG、SONY、VIZIO 智能電視以及 Roku、Amazon Fire TV 播放器。
Apple TV+ 蘋果原創內容正式登場
除了 Apple TV Channels 之外，蘋果隆重宣佈推出 Apple TV+，提供包括電視劇、紀錄片等等原創內容，蘋果更請來 Steven Spielberg、Reese Witherspoon、Jennifer Aniston、Oprah Winfrey 甚至《芝麻街》的 Big Bird 分享他們有份參演或主持的 Apple TV+ 節目。
