今時今日，網絡世界已經進入 HTML5 的年代，隨著各大瀏覽器都已停止主動提供 Flash 內容，我們已經愈來愈少機會需要接觸 Flash。不過，總有少量網站、服務仍會用上 Flash。若大家仍有使用 Flash，就要留意結束服務的日期了。

Adobe 發言人指出，Adobe 已經確定將於 2020 年全面停止支援 Flash，當中包括發布及更新 Flash Player。他們建議，現時仍有使用 Flash 提供內容的開發者應盡早改用其他更新的格式。

由現在起至 2020 年，Adobe 仍會為 Google、微軟、Facebook、蘋果等提供 Flash 方面的支援。所以，Windows 及蘋果要到 2020 年才全面停止支援 Flash，大家現在不需過分擔心。至於 Mozilla，則會透過 Firefox 的 Extended Support Release 版一直提供 Flash 內容的支援，直至 Extended Support Release 的產品週期完結為止。
