最近爆料 YouTuber Jon Prosser 聲稱收到名為「C68」的 AirPower 無線充電板原型，他聲稱這產品內藏解決過熱問題的關鍵。

在早期開發 AirPower 無線充電板的時候，蘋果一直無法解決過熱的問題，最終令 AirPower 項目胎死腹中。在重新開發 AirPower 無線充電板的時候，蘋果正在將 AirPower 測試原型快遞到工程師的家之中，目前在家工作的工程師們被要求開發方案，去解決早期開發當中遇到的過熱問題。

蘋果提及的解決 AirPower 過熱問題的答案，是在無線充電板裡面加入 A11 Bionic 處理器，原因是要調節 AirPower 充電時能量輸送的區域。[the_ad_placement id=”ad2″]

在初期開發 AirPower 遇上的過熱問題，原因是與 Apple Watch 的充電方案有關，Apple Watch 採用了定制化充電協議，需要更大電流才能充電，如果將 Apple Watch 放在其他裝置旁邊同時充電，會令充電板過熱。蘋果就將 A11 Bionic 處理晶片放入去之後，能量可以傳送到特定的線圈區域，並會動態地等待溫度下降之後再輸入更多能量，這樣做可防止過熱。

Using the A11, this new prototype has the ability to route power to specific coil regions and can dynamically wait for temperatures to drop before applying more power – preventing it from overheating.
