話說 Windows 10 一推出的時候，微軟就讓 Windows 7 和 Windows 8.1 的用戶免費升級到 Windows 10。雖然這個安排早已結束，但微軟官方並沒有跟你說，其實 Windows 7 仍然有方法免費升級 Windows 10。

一名聲稱是微軟員工的 Reddit 網友 CokeRobot 最近爆料原來 Windows 7 仍然可以透過 Windows 10 Media Creation Tool 免費升級到 Windows 10。

具體方法是在要升級的 Windows 7 電腦登入 Windows 10 官網（按這裡）下載 Windows 10 Media Creation Tool 並打開，跟隨指示選擇「立即升級此電腦」，如果電腦本身的 Windows 7 金鑰已啟動的話，其系統授權會自動轉換到 Windows 10 的系統授權，完成升級。[the_ad_placement id=”ad2″]

對於 Windows 7 免費升級漏洞，這位網友解釋指 Windows 已不再是微軟的「搖錢樹」，他們寧願關注更多用戶是否能夠升級，多過由軟件授權帶來的收入。網友亦指微軟只會針對大量授權而作一個稽查，就算是 10-200 部 Windows 7 SMB OEM 授權的電腦也不受影響，但超過 1000 部 PC 的話就不肯定，而且微軟的使用者授權條款（EULA）並沒有禁止一般用戶這樣做。
